Hello from Wisconsin! My name is Shannon and I have been involved in clogging for over 20 years.  (If you check out the Walworth County Cloggers side of our website you can learn more about my group.)   

As my youth clogging team grew we struggled with 'the shoe thing' -- helping our dancers figure out how and where to order shoes, helping them get the right size, and guiding new dancers into the world of clogging shoes. With the help of our friends at Ed & Deb Enterprises, we learned how to do tap installation and repairs for ourselves. And we counted on seeing them at our state workshop so dancers could get shoes.  We even tried having an 'inventory' of 'try-on' shoes to help our dancers find the right size.

When I had the opportunity to purchase Ed & Deb Enterprises in August 2007, it seemed like a good fit for us. I know the struggle groups and directors face when it comes to getting clogging shoes and want to help make that process easier.

I have access to a great trial market group to help try out shoes and taps and find new, modern clogging attire, bags and more (what better way to find out if a product will be accepted than to test it with a group of girls!). So I decided to 'go for it'.

WHAT DO WE HOPE TO OFFER?

First, we want to help our customers sort through the clogging shoe options.  My years of experience in clogging and with my dancers has helped me sort through the pros and cons of the different styles. We can help you find the right pair for you.  We carry several styles to choose from.  And I only carry brands that I would recommend to my own dancers.

Second, we want to provide support to the clogging directors.  The easier we can make the ordering process for your dancers, the easier it is for you. And we know how much time, effort and work you already put into your job -- so let us help with this part. Just let us know the name of your group and studio and whatever shoe requirements and preferences you have. As your dancers call we will have this information to help them get just the right shoe.

Third, we want to introduce some fun new products to the clogging world. Again, with a large youth group we have seen the products they get excited for at workshops and competitions (and what they may not care for). Watch for new additions to our products.

Finally, we want to provide a clogging vendor service to our local area. You can count on seeing us at the Minnesota and Wisconsin state workshops. And if you are planning on attending one of those workshops, feel free to contact us several weeks before the event and let us know what you are hoping to find. That way we can have your size and style in stock for you.

Again, we look forward to getting to know all the great cloggers out there.  Deb said the hardest thing about selling the business would be missing the people she was able to meet over the years.  Just finishing up our first year in business I know what she is referring to -- I have already found that my clogging customers are polite, friendly and just great people to work with!
