CLOGGING TAPS

We carry Steven Stompers (Regular and Buck) Taps, Bell Taps and Liberty Bell Taps.

Prices listed here are for a set of taps (two toe taps and two heel taps).

Make sure to c heck with your instructor/director before ordering taps.

Some groups or facilities have preferences on the tap their dancers wear.

BELL TAPS

BELL TAPS

$23.50

Nail-on only

Why BELL TAPS?

This tap has a GREAT sound -- loud, clean, clear.

Rounded toe will not damage floor (no 'nicks' in floor) -- and YES, you can get out 'toe' sounds!

Light weight tap

No sharp edges or rivots to damage the floor

A great tap for the "studio" dancers looking to protect the dance floor.

This aluminum tap will 'gray' an unwaxed floor -- but this washes off and does not cause any permanent damage.

Do NOT dance on rough surfaces (such as roads or sidewalks) with this tap.  This will damage the tap, creating sharp edges that can then damage your dance floor.

LIBERTY BELL

The LIBERTY BELL TAP is a steel tap with no holes in the floor plate. It has a rounded over-the-toe front end that should not chip into floors and will produce a metal-to metal sound when hit on the toe end. It is a very durable tap and easy on the dance floors.

QUESTION:  I see on your price list an option to have a Steven Stomper Buck Toe or Liberty Bell Toe and a Bell Tap Heel installed on a pair of shoes.  Why do dancers do this?

ANSWER:  Some competitive dancers like the sound they get with this combination.  If you order shoes like this, you will receive the entire set of Bell taps (toes and heels) as we order these from the manufacturer in sets only.
